Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was used to detect protein expression in formalin fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. Protein expression can be evaluated by color detection or fluorescence detection. Both detection systems are dependent on imperative antigenic acid recognition. The coloring IHC utilizes the deposition of the enzyme catalytic colored original in the antigenic position, and the fluorescent IHC uses a fluorescent group by directly or indirect immunofluorescence method to assist the observation antigen. Although both detection systems allow some degree of multi-channel detection (detection of two or more targets), the fluorescence method is particularly suitable for detecting multi-target (up to 6 or more).
